I finished my school project today!! After turning it in I felt like I needed to do something super girly so I dressed up in my new Asos knit dress, curled my hair and went outside to take some photos. The weather's been amazing today, the sun is shining and it isn't even as cold as it's been for the past few days (-27 degrees celsius anyone?). I have to admit, though, I wouldn't actually wear that jacket in this weather - taking photos with a gigantic parka would have pretty much covered up the dress so I faked it...

I have always liked winter and snow but after living all my life in Finland I'm starting to get sick of the freezing cold and the darkness of the winter months. I have decided that in a few years' time I'll do a student exchange and go to Australia for six months or even a year, whatever the price. I want to go outside wearing only shorts and a top, I want to be able to wear heels without slipping on the ice, I want to feel my toes when I walk to the bus stop. I don't want a pitch black sky at 4 p.m, I don't want to be forced to dress up like a giant ball of clothes every day. I love Finland but I want something else for a change.

Anyone else feeling like they need to get away from home, on an adventure?
